Democrats won every statewide race in Georgia on Tuesday, from governor to the Public Service Commission, and they mostly did it with less money. In six of the eight races where campaign finance reports allow a fair comparison, the Republican raised more. Unofficial results from the Secretary of State, with every precinct reporting, show Democrats winning by about 8 to 18 points. The results are unofficial until the state certifies them.

The sharpest gap was in the race for insurance commissioner. Keisha Sean Waites (D) raised $2,060 and unseated Insurance Commissioner John F. King (R), who raised $2.77 million. Republicans entered the night holding all eight constitutional offices, and Democrats took every one. Four Republican incumbents lost: King, Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper, State School Superintendent Richard Woods and Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes.

Black women won eight of the 11 races, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, among them governor, secretary of state and attorney general. The wave stopped short of the state Senate, where Republicans keep a 29-27 majority, and control of the state House is still unsettled.

Race by race, with the winner’s margin and the money each side reported raising through its last report before the election (state reports cover through Oct. 20 plus the two-day reports filed after it, the federal Senate reports through Oct. 14):

  • Governor: Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) beat Rick Jackson (R) by about 9 points. Jackson raised $244.2 million to her $13.4 million, about 18 to 1.
  • Lieutenant governor: State Senator Josh McLaurin (D) beat State Senator Greg Dolezal (R) by about 12 points. Dolezal raised $3.76 million, nearly all of it in loans, to McLaurin’s $1.01 million.
  • Secretary of state: Penny Brown Reynolds (D) beat State Rep. Tim Fleming (R) by about 11 points. Reynolds raised $1.40 million to Fleming’s $1.14 million.
  • Attorney general: State Rep. Tanya Miller (D) beat State Senator Brian Strickland (R) by 11 points. Strickland raised $2.51 million to Miller’s $1.49 million.
  • Agriculture commissioner: Katherine E. Juhan-Arnold (D) beat Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper (R) by about 8 points.
  • Insurance commissioner: Waites beat King by about 9 points.
  • School superintendent: Lydia Powell (D) beat State School Superintendent Richard Woods (R) by about 9 points.
  • Labor commissioner: Nikki Porcher (D) beat Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes (R) by about 9 points. Rivera Holmes raised $518,000 to Porcher’s $100,000.
  • U.S. Senate: U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff (D) beat U.S. Rep. Mike Collins (R) by 18 points. Ossoff raised $136.6 million to Collins’s $9.9 million, about 14 to 1, the reverse of the governor’s race.
  • Public Service Commission, District 3: Public Service Commissioner Peter Hubbard (D) beat Fitz Johnson (PSC District 3) (R) by about 13 points. Johnson raised $945,000 to Hubbard’s $397,000.
  • Public Service Commission, District 5: Shelia Edwards (PSC District 5) (D) beat Josh Tolbert (PSC District 5) (R) by about 11 points. The seat had been held by Republican Stan Wise.
